How do I send a gift?
Pick your city, tap any store, choose an amount and how to send it (link, SMS or e-mail), then pay. With "Link" you get a gift link to share on WhatsApp or any chat.
Does the person need the Gifty app or an account?
No. They open the gift link and see the code and PIN. They can save it to My gifts if they want, but it is not required.
How is the gift card used at the store?
At the counter they show the 12-character code and tell the cashier the 4-digit PIN. The bill is paid from the card, and if the bill is bigger they pay the rest.
Can the card be used more than once?
Yes. Gift cards can be used in parts. Whatever is left stays on the card until it expires.
How long is a gift card valid?
Usually 12 months from the day it is bought. The exact date is shown on the gift and under My gifts.
Is there GST on gift cards?
No GST is charged on the gift card value (gift cards are actionable claims). A small platform fee is charged with 18% GST, and you get a GST invoice for it.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled once bought. If a payment failed but money was debited, it is refunded automatically by the bank.
I lost the PIN or the link.
If you sent the gift, open My gifts > Sent to see the link again. If it was sent to you, ask the sender or contact us.
